As ‘homo sapiens’, we are cognizant of and value our mental intelligence. We look to the external world with judgment, feelings of superiority or inferiority, and divisions based on such things as religion, skin colour, financial standing and mental competence. We are, therefore, fragmented, conflicted, repetitive and static.
As ‘homo integral’ we look within and are aware of our selves as beings of ‘spirit’. We have integral intelligence, recognizing ourselves as individual, or in divisible. We are conscious of a desire and need for growth and evolution. We seek peace and harmony.
As ‘homo humus’ we experience our cellular intelligence and recognize our bodies as cosmic expression of a dynamic, ever-flowing and ever transforming energy. We look within ourselves, both mentally and physically, and we see all that is outside of ourselves. We look outside of ourselves and we see all that is within us. There is no division between the external and the internal. We are an integral part of the earth. |
