Kundalini Yoga and Meditation Retreat

Sunday evening to Friday noon

This is a five day nature retreat for Self-discovery, Healing and Celebration of daily living through dialogue, gentle yoga, breathing techniques and meditations.

During these five days participants will explore and experience:

  • the personal and universal dimensions of the seven Chakras and their energy (Kundalini)
  • the connection of the Chakras to the five elements and three Ayurvedic constitutions or Prakirti
  • the application of knowledge of Arurvedic constitution to the discovery of ways of living in greater harmony with one's own nature including potential lifestyle changes in the areas of food, sleep, exercise and relationships.
 
Fee: $650 includes food, accommodation and course material

 August 10, Sunday: Day 1
4 pm:Arrival
5 - 6:30 pm:Introduction of participants and Introduction to the Chakras, Energy, Elements and Constitution (Prakirti)
6.30 - 7.30 pm:Supper
7.30 - 9 pm:Yoga poses, Breath work and Meditation
9 pm:Spiritual film
 August 11, Monday: Day 2
9.30 am - 12 noonRoot Chakra or Mooladhar: Chakra One; Kapha or earth constitution
12 - 4pm: Lunch and free time to explore the area or for personal dialogue with teachers
4 - 6 pm:Root Chakra and Second Chakra or Swadishthan; Kapha or earth constitution
6 - 8 pm:Supper, free time and personal dialogue with teachers
8 - 9 pm:Second Chakra; Earth constitution
9 pm:Spiritual film
 August 12, Tuesday: Day 3
9.30 am to 12 noon:Solar Chakra or Manipura: Chakra Three; Pita or fire constitution
12 – 4 pm:Lunch and free time to explore the area or for personal dialogue with teachers
4 – 6 pm:Solar chakra and Fourth Chakra or Anahata; Pita or fire constitution
6 - 8 pm:Supper, free time and personal dialogue with teachers
8 to 9 pm:Fourth Chakra; Vata or air constitution
9 pm:Spiritual film
 August 13, Wednesday: Day 4
9.30 am to 12 noon:Throat Chakra or Visudha: Chakra Five; Vata or air constitution
12 – 4 pm:Lunch and free time to explore the area or for personal dialogue with teachers
4 – 6 pm:Throat chakra and Sixth Chakra or Ajna; Vata or air constitution
6 to 8 pm:Supper, Free time and personal dialogue with teachers
8 to 9 pm:Sixth Chakra; Vata or air constitution
9 pm:Spiritual film
 August 14, Thursday: Day 5
9.30 am to 12 noon:Crown Chakra or Sahasara: Chakra Seven - Living in Wholeness or Soulfulness; Harmony of Constitution
12 – 4 pm:Lunch and free time to explore the area or for personal dialogue with teachers
4 – 6 pm:Universal Dimension of Chakras: God-realization; Harmony of Constitution
6 to 8 pm:Supper, and dialogue with teachers
8 to 9 pm:Universal Dimension of Chakras: Nirvana; Harmony of Constitution

 August 15, Friday: Day 6
9.30 am to 12 noon:Returning to First and Second Chakras – going to our Roots: the Natural Being; Conclusion
12 – 4 pm:Lunch; departure after lunch
